My Thoughts on The Fae Princes by Nikki St. Crowe

Well, here we are, the conclusion to Nikki St. Crowe’s Vicious Lost Boys series. This series was one of my very first “Thoughts I had” posts. Meanwhile, you will not find any of my thoughts or feelings on book three, Their Vicious Darling. Nor do I have any notes about it, so I’m kinda going into this blind. The title tells me this one will be heavier on Bash and Kas. I believe there will be a final confrontation involving their mother, Tink. Jump down to My Final Thoughts to avoid spoilers.

  1. Pan killed Tink? Maybe I don’t remember the end of Their Vicious Darling after all.
  2. Oh I get it now. The first time.
  3. Right, Roc and Vane are brothers.
  4. ..given love like stones give blood..
  5. I’m confused about who has what shadow.
  6. Ngl, I thought Tilly was dead.
  7. Tempers flaring all around. Scared and angry.
  8. Slightly arrogant Darling.
  9. Pretty sure you can heat up your own leftovers Darling. Fuck I hate spoiled bitches and Darling has become a spoiled little fucking brat.
  10. Is Darling knocked up? She keeps going on about the weight she has gained. I loathe pregnancy tropes.
  11. Sometimes the touch-and-die trope goes too far. Calm down Darling, there is no need to act childish.
  12. It’s a trap ! Seriously, who doesn’t change the locks after banishing some powerful fae princes?
  13. I got a bad feeling creeping up my throat too.
  14. You kinda do need his permission, Pan. The power dynamics of your little harem have changed drastically.
  15. I wish Pan’s bedroom was mine.
  16. Some of the mechanics here seem odd.
  17. Just want what’s best for your sons eh Tink?
  18. Tilly! You conniving little fairy.
  19. It’s always the ones who don’t want it. I get it, but ugh.
  20. I mean, Kas and Bash do deserve this.
  21. And therein lies your mistake Tink.
  22. Hello redemption.
  23. Roc is sly as fuck. Every time I forget about him, there he is.
  24. And smart too.
  25. Oh shit Balder!

The Vicious Lost Boys Review

The conclusion of Nikki St. Crowe’s Vicious Lost Boys series was fitting. I honestly don’t have a whole lot to say about it. The Fae Princes is written in the same point-of-view style as the previous three books. This time around though, we get chapters from both Kas and Bash, our Fae Princes. Much like the rest of the series it is filled with sex scenes. I’m not sure if it was the quantity or the quality but I didn’t find The Fae Princes to be as spicy as the rest of the series.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

He kisses my cheek, lingering close. “I can feel your love like a million golden stars in the endless abyss that is me.”

For decades, I was trapped in the dark with only the starlight above me.

The panic is closer, clawing up my throat.

There is a bad feeling crawling up my throat.

If I focus on her and her words and her heat and the electric feel of her pleasure dancing along my skin, maybe I can forget that everything is crumbling around me.

Grief is an emotion that is not so easily hid and I can see all of the layers of it on the twins’ faces.

“I’m sorry, Tinker Bell. I’m sorry we loved each other so much we destroyed one another.”

The firelight catches my wings and they glitter with iridescence, like the dark, shimmering rainbow of a mermaid’s scales.

I’m no warrior, but I am Winnie Fucking Darling and I will not let Tinker Bell take what’s mine.
