I am super stoked to read this erotic horror novella. I did receive an advanced digital copy of No Service. This is my second time arc reading for Krista. That being said, these thoughts and feelings are my own. I read and loved Frat Row and it’s likely I will enjoy this one as well.
Spoilers Sweetie: Jump down to my Final Thoughts to avoid them.

- Not getting caught banging in the middle of the woods !
- I feel like there’s a special ingredient in these drinks.
- Don’t trust these burgers.

No Service Review
What could be the harm in eating some burgers with other neighborly campers?
No Service is an erotic horror novella by indie author Krista Tuner Clark. This is the first erotic horror from Turner Clark and it did not disappoint. I enjoy a good erotic horror from time to time. I find they’re great as a palate cleanse. Especially when I’m reading a lot of fantasy, ya or new adult books. The genre is not for everyone and I’d likely not suggest No Service as your first erotic horror. There are definitely tamer ones out there. Unless of course you are cool with cannibalism and creative uses of dismembered body parts.
No Service is a multi point of view tale of the absolute horrors that can arise out of trusting strangers in the woods. Rather than spend their holidays with family, Marley and her boyfriend Ryan have chosen to go camping. Marley is not the camping type, but Ryan wants to live off the land. The things we do for love. I think my biggest issue was how ill prepared Marley and Ryan seemed to be for camping. As a Virgo, this bothered me more than it should have. I can’t point to anything specific, it was just kind of the vibe I was getting.
Turns out, Marley and Ryan are not the only campers in the woods for the holidays. During their first day they come across another camper who invites them to hang out with him and his three friends. What begins innocently enough quickly turns to accidental cannibalism, drugging and public displays of sexual fun.
While accidental cannibalism may be hard to determine, Marley and Ryan definitely know they were drugged when they wake up the next day. This should have been their first clue to peace the fuck out of there. Or at the very least, not hang out with the random group of people they met in the woods. But no, they decide to hang out with their new friends again. I mean, they’ve got steak, burgers and hot dogs, what more could you ask for? Plus I hear once you get a taste for human flesh it’s hard to give it up.
I feel like if you are reading erotic horror, you should know what you are signing yourself up for. But just in case, there are a plethora of trigger warnings for No Service and you will find them near the top of this review. Once upon a time we didn’t have trigger warnings. Now that it is common practice, it really irks the fuck out of me when people complain about the content in books.
It is important to know, there is no happily ever after here.
I’d bet a dime Marley and Ryan wish they had just gone and dealt with the family drama.
