The best part of Big Top is its top-notch employees, including Crissa, the green-haired social outcast who possesses a truly dangerous appetite, hungry for more than just pizza. While she may struggle to find a true friend, finding herself abandoned by her once friend group, she realizes it’s never too late to make one…especially if said friend has all the best parts of her old ones.
What better dish to serve those who turned their backs on her than a hot, cheesy slice of revenge.
Clowns, Pizza, Revenge.

Review
The Nightshift by Ab. Cynthe & Aimee-Jo Hunter
Minor Spoilers
The Nightshift by Ab. Cynthe & Aimee-Jo Hunter is an erotic horror novella with some major 80s vibes. The Nightshift is a single pov novella about Crissa, a downtrodden and bullied teenager working in a pizza shop. Listen, it’s not her fault her only friends are rats okay. Her ex friends are miserable pos and quite franky, deserved every gory, horrific thing that happened to them. Honestly though, I was not a fan of her character.
Crissa finds a journal possessed by a demon. I loved Zeth. He was an absolute blast. But Crissa is like, sure possess me and do revenge. As one would when they come across a demon. Her wishy-washyness after the fact drove me a little batty. Especially with everything she was going through. Girl, just let that demon out to play. That being said, the wait was worth it.
The final showdown, when Crissa has finally given over full control to Zeth, was so much fun. I love how creative erotic horror authors get and The Nightshift is no exception. For me, horror is hilarious. Possession horror is top tier comedy. I mean, I just love how some demons are portrayed in media. And when Zeth gets to give into his baser instincts, well, all hell breaks loose and heads roll.
If you are an erotic horror lover you have got to add The Nightshift to your tbr asap. Just make sure to check the trigers. I feel like if you’re reading erotic horror your triggers are few and far between but it never hurts to double check. Unless your like me and like a good surprise.
Thank you to Ab. Cynthe & Aimee-Jo Hunter for sending me an advanced copy of The Nightshift. As always, these are my honest thoughts an opinions.
