How do you convince the men you’re literally obsessed with that you’re not the sweet, innocent girl they’ve come to believe you are?
Well, you make a resume of m*rders of course.
It’s not going to be easy. Getting away with m*rder is a lot of work.
But if I’m one thing, it’s a determined b!tch.
And I am extremely determined to make these three mine.
They took a life for me, now it’s my time to return the favor.
Any woman who dares to touch what is mine will pay the price… with their lives.
I don’t make the rules, it’s just how it’s going to be.
Jasper, Wesley and Sylas are a part of the three main founding families of New Orleans.
They’re dangerous men with ungodly morals.
Good thing that’s exactly my type.
I’m going to show them I can handle their depravity, their f*cked up twisted ways, one life at a time.
They’re going to see I can match their crazy, see that I’m the girl for them. There’s no other choice, no other way.
Hello New Orleans, meet The Butterfly K!ller. I can’t wait to paint your city red.

Review
Sincerely, Butterfly by Alisha Williams Review
Minor Spoilers
I received an eARC of Sincerely, Butterfly from Smuthood for review purposes.
As always babes, these are my honest thoughts and opinions.
These are the three sons of some of the most powerful families in not only the country, but the world.
And they’re mine, even if they aren’t exactly aware of that yet.
Sincerely, Butterfly by Alisha Williams is a dark why choose romance about a baby serial killer and the men she kills to have. This is an FMMM romance, there is no sword crossing. Her boyfriends are not boyfriends. Unfortunately, I didn’t love this story and it has nothing to do with the lack of sword crossing and everything to do with the fmc.
Our FMC, Lola is in love with her childhood besties. Now that they are older, these boys will have nothing to do with her. For Lola’s protection of course. Sylas, Jasper, & Wesley don’t think Lola is capable of handling their world. Which is odd because her dad is literally part of the same society! But they think Lola is too sweet, too innocent. They believe they will break her. Lola can barely string two words together in their presence, I don’t blame them for their thought process. Jokes on them though because Lola is absolutely fucking unhinged. Which I did love. The problem is Lola is young, dumb and impulsive.
My girl is a little killer, a tiny psychopath hidden behind bright blonde hair and big blue eyes.
Lola decides in order for these men to take her seriously, she needs to prove to them she can handle them. What better way to prove it than murdering any girl they touch. Only, for a girl with a literal retired serial killer for a father, she’s not that great at it. She’s fine at the killing part, it’s everything else. This girl wants to be a high profile serial killer, yet she’s dropping bodies on the steps of the heads of the secret society and wondering why the cops don’t know about it. A secret society is NOT going to call the cops when a dead girl shows up on their property. Silly me for thinking that’s common fucking sense I guess. Nor can she understand the cops not immediately holding press conferences in her honor. In some instances, there wasn’t even a body to be found. As far as anyone is concerned, they were missing not dead.
Personally, I think Sincerely, Butterfly would have been better had Lola been older and just a little bit wiser. Lola’s immaturity put a damper on the whole story for me. The other thing that really bothered me is the amount of advanced sex happening. Don’t get me wrong, the spice was fire despite the fact that there was no sword crossing. But Lola is an eighteen year old virgin when we meet her and I had trouble suspending my belief that this girl could just instantly and effortlessly take three men in the ways in which they were going at it. Lola jumped right in the deep end and didn’t flounder once.
I really didn’t enjoy the men of Sincerely, Butterfly either. The majority of this story is told from Lola’s point of view with a handful of chapters from the men. The problem is none of these characters are properly fleshed out and they all feel very surface level. We don’t even get to know much about the secret society. It’s just there, hanging out in the background. This is a longer book and I wish we spent that time diving deeper into what makes these characters tick and the world that created them.
And all this time, she’s even more fucked up then we are.
Our little queen of darkness.
I really enjoyed the overall premise of Sincerely, Butterfly. It has so many elements and tropes that I love. It just completely missed the mark for me. I was excited about a female serial killer for an fmc. It’s why I noticed Sincerely, Butterfly and signed up for an arc. But Lola is out here murdering innocent women for something her boyfriends have done. I love touch them & die but this was if they touch you, you die. It’s New Orleans, you couldn’t find anyone else to murder and build your serial killer reputation on?
